US M60A3 105mm Gun Tank Kit – CA240

This reissue from Tamiya features the M60A3 as it appeared in the 1980s. The tank featured a cast-iron metal chassis taken from 1950s M48s, and ran on a super-charged air-cooled diesel engine. Like the chassis, the turret was created from cast-iron and equipped with a 105mm gun. A thermal sleeve was added to shield from barrel distortion, and other advances include a laser-based rangefinder and a ballistic computer. 3,600 were produced and has since taken on a prominent military role for over two decades. When fully assembled, this 1/35 scale model measures 264mm long and 104mm wide.
